Summer Reading Program: Tails and Tales

The Summer Reading Program has officially begun here at Walnut Grove Library and this year's theme is "Tails and Tales."

We are excited to announce that we will again be offering online registration through the website Beanstack as well as in person registration at the library. Summer Reading isn't just for kids but it's also for teenagers and adults. We encourage everyone at any age to sign up and record their reading for this summer.

To sign up online, go to https://azalealibraries.beanstack.org and click "register an individual or family" to get started. If you used Beanstack for last year's program, simply log into the same account to enter this year's program. The website is a fun, easy and free resource that allows you to record your reading hours and receive virtual badges and certificates when you reach certain goals. Beanstack also offers a free app available for both Apple and Android devices that allows you to log your reading while out and about. I used the app during last year's summer reading and loved the fun badges and little encouragements it gave me whenever I logged my reading time.

We will be having many fun activities and events throughout the summer so be sure to follow us on Facebook. We are so excited to spend this summer reading and loving books with all of you!
