The Walnut Grove Library's Young Poets Contest

April is National Poetry Month and to celebrate, we will be hosting our second annual poetry contest for kids and teens grades 2nd-12th. The winning poets will receive a prize and have their poems displayed in the library.

The poem must be original and can be about any topic and use any style. Only one entry is allowed per person. All entries must be turned in at the front desk by Friday, April 30th. When you turn in your poem, you will receive a special certificate of participation for your hard work. Remember always give your poem an interesting title and have lots of fun!
