This book gives a nice history of fermenting foods for preservation and flavor, as well as some very interesting recipes. I am particularly interested in the recipes given for fermented hot sauces. I can’t wait to try one when my peppers come in this summer. Have a look and try out some of the gut healthy recipes from kraut and kimchi to pepper mashes and kombucha. It is available through Azalea Regional Library System.
