Never Too Young! by Aileen Wientraub and Illustrated by Laura Hoeron

Our world is a vast and wonderful place with many people living many different kinds of lives. Everyone has talents but these talents all differ from one another. When we talk to children about their talents, we should always try to encourage them and help them to see that they can use their talents to make the world a better place. In Never Too Young!: 50 Unstoppable Kids Who Made a Difference, author Aileen Weintraub brings 50 amazing kids into to the spotlight to showcase the many talents of kids across the globe.

Never Too Young is a fantastic collection of stories with diverse and true characters. She includes children like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joan of Arc and Helen Keller that are in the history books, reminding the readers of their young age. She then includes many modern day kids like Yashi Gupta, Akrit Jaswal, and Adele Ann Taylor. These young people are all different and achieved many different things such as advocacy, philanthropy, athletics, writing and much more. Each person has a short passage about their life and an inspiring quote summing up what they believed and accomplished. Laura Horton created unique illustrations for each individual, creating a stunning book both inside and out. I highly recommend this book for children who enjoy reading about other, inspiring kids who changed the world around them. This book is available for reservation through PINES.
