Fletcher and the Falling Leaves by Julia Rawlinson and Illustrated by Tiphanie Beeke

Updated: Nov 5, 2020

Many find autumn to be one of the most beautiful times of the year with it's fiery reds and vibrant yellows. But little Fletcher is not convinced and is distressed over his favorite tree. He can't understand why the beautiful tree's leaves are falling to the ground and why the other animals insist on taking the precious leaves for themselves. His mother tells him not to worry and that it's just a part of autumn but this brings him little comfort. Will Fletcher find peace about the changing seasons or will he become even more distressed with the end of autumn? This lovely picture book is a great resource for helping little ones understand the beauty that comes with the change of the season.
