Fall is here!! This is my favorite season and I want to share with you some fun Fall easy reader books available in the Pines system.
It’s Fall, Dear Dragon by Margaret Hillary
This is a great book for beginning readers about a boy and his dragon friend. They enjoy a pretty Fall day raking leaves, shopping for apples and carving pumpkins. Some of my favorite things to do. Good practice for kids learning their sight words.
The Fall Festival by Mercer Mayer
Little Critter and his family love taking a trip to the Fall Festival in Critterville. There is apple picking, fun games and a Pumpkin Patch.
The colorful illustrations will make you want to be at the Fall Festival too!
Mouse and the Moon by M. Christina Butler
Each night Little Harvest Mouse sings a lullaby to his very own moon. But one night he couldn’t find his friend the moon anywhere. See what happens when Harvest Mouse’s friends, Duck, Squirrel and Rabbit, can’t find their moon either. A sweet story that explores the importance of friendship and sharing.
Little Elliot Fall Friends by Mike Curato
Little Elliott and his best friend mouse need a break from the hustle and bustle of the big city. So they board a bus to the countryside where they discover the sights and smells of Autumn and make new friends.
Hedgehugs: Autumn Hide and Seek by Steve Wilson and Lucy Tapper
Horace and Hattie, cute little hedgehogs, are best friends and love to do things together. On a windy Autumn day Hattie is sad that all the leaves are falling from the trees. Horace is trying to put the leaves back when suddenly they hear a squeak. What could it be? This is a delightful story filled with pumpkins, acorns and new squeaky friends.
