Browsing through recipe books is something I enjoy. Recently I saw this book mentioned in a list of food memoirs. I was intrigued, as I remember reading Molly’s blog years ago. There are recipes in this memoir, but Molly precedes each recipe with an essay that tells us about her life and why the recipe she is sharing is special to her. There are difficult times and happy times, with food as a central theme.
I could certainly never fill a book, but it has made me think that I should write a few family stories to go with our special family recipes. I enjoyed the book and if memoirs or recipe books are something you enjoy I suggest you check it out.
